The Enchanting 🌈 Rainbow!

This poem was written by me on 15|7|2015..

So u can well imagine what my age was, at that time! I was a tot of 11 years .. And in class 6th. Hope you read this poem with the feel that it was written by an 11 yr old kid 😊 . 

It's just a 20 SECOND READ! So, u can finish reading this post in just 20 seconds!

So here i go! 

THE ENCHANTING RAINBOW 🌈 !

An arch of colours 

In the sky; 

Shining pleasantly

And glowing 

With its colours.. 

Gracefully

Like a peacock

Dancing in the rain;

With its throbbing feathers, 

Juddering its wings. 

Just have pleasure

Watching the rainbow's 

Fascinating colours! 

Carefully observe a rainbow

With your closed eyes

And silence... 

It'll sing like a winsome linnet;

Tantalizing you... 

Pleasantly and calmly

Bidding you goodbye

For the next meet... 

With tears in it's eyes!

THIS WAS IN REALITY, THE FIRST SENSIBLE POEM I HAD WRITTEN. I NEVER KNEW THE MEANING OF POETRY AT THAT TIME.. STILL, TODAY I FEEL THAT I HAD WRITTEN A GOOD POEM, THOUGH CHILDISH.. 

It was appreciated by Shipra Ma'am when i had sent it for the school magazine..  She had written "WELL WRITTEN" on the top of it.. Since that day, i got an inner zeal to write poems and so am i doing! 

I had UNKNOWINGLY used personification, imagery, metaphor .. at that time, i didnt even know what they meant 😅

A rainbow is not a semi circle.. Its a full circle.. 

Amazing, right?
